Excerpt from a concert at KOSMOSTAGE –
a festival curated by Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra
in Radialsystem V, Berlin
July 17-18th, 2015

This was the second of three concerts in Germany of the Berlin-based Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra and Hermeto Pascoal with his fellow bandmates Aline Morena and Fabio Pascoal, all from Brazil.

The whole concert lasted almost three hours with about 20 compositions of Hermeto being played.

Hermeto was agile and free – going on and off the stage each night spontaneously, calling tunes, improvising interludes, having conversations with the audiences and joking with the translators.

According to Hermeto, it was the first time he left Brazil to play his compositions being arranged by somebody else.

In this excerpt you can get an impression of the cheerful atmosphere of this intensive week of „Musica Universal“ as Hermeto calls it.
