Rays of Light is Richard Koch’s new quintet and was released in 2025 on Fun in the Church Berlin. The album was followed by festival appearances and excellent reviews in press and radio, including WDR Album of the Week, Jazzpodium Album of the Month, and a jazzahead! showcase. The band features Fabiana Striffler (violin), Valentin Butt (accordion), Andreas Lang (double bass) and Nora Thiele (frame drum).
